Sharjah City Municipality - Engineering Sector

The Engineering and Building Sector is responsible for the qualification of contractors and consultants and registering them as per the applicable rules and regulations in Sharjah. The sector receives project transactions from the consulting firms, reviews and approves them, and hence issuing the required building permit. It follows up on all projects at the construction stages and coordinates with local and federal departments and institutions in regard to building requirements and specifications.
