Since 92 years ago, the great Egyptian economist, Mohamed Talaat Pasha Harb , came up with the concept of establishing a bank with a mission. He brought that idea into existence and presented it to the Egyptian society as a whole. This concept was based on investing national savings and directing them towards economic and social development. That bank is BANQUE MISR.The role played by Banque Misr is evident in all economic fields, thanks to its geographic spread with the largest network in Egypt with more than 480 branches and 1,000 ATMs across the country. The bank was established in 1974 under the name of Banque Du Caire and the name was changed to Banque Misr in 2008. Banque Misr has a network of 5 branches across the UAE located in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
