Arabian Publication Inc., first stablished in British Virgin Islands in the year 1980 to publish the first ever directory in the emirate of Abu Dhabi with the title Oilfield Directory, upon finding the vacuum of an authentic publication for the then rocket booming Oil sector for the entire Gulf Region thus renamed as Gulf Oilfield Directory in June 1981with only few hundred business listing in Alphabetical order when there were hardly thousand companies active in Oil and Gas sector of this region from seismic survey to refined crude, tankers and all ancillary segments together. Those days the industry was run generally by British and US expats.. Considering the growth of offshore and onshore transportation industry due to the Oil related economic boom in the year 1990 Arabian Publication Inc. launched it second publication Gulf Freight and Transportation Directory. In the year 1995 Arabian Publication Inc’s management made a resolution to incorporate Arabian Gulf Commercial Publication and came out with our first magazine Gulf Oilfield News encompassed whose days with personal interviews of those days taipans of the Oil and Gas industry around the Globe and same year we have had our first 3 x 3 stand at Offshore Technology Conference at Houston in Texas, MEOS in Bahrain and ADIPEC at Abu Dhabi and there after every year, expect ADIPEC being a biennial event. 1995 had witnessed major developments within the company by establishing branch offices with regular staff members in all other GCC states. Those leap would not have been possible had not the newly appointed General Manager Mr J Mathew, joined the management. The year 2000 was the most successful year in the history of publication as we have published Gulf Oilfield Directory 1260 A4 size printing in two columns with 20,000 establishments validated business listings. In the 2004 we have introduced our online directory www.oilandgaspages.com, and published a hand book of A5 size for Oil and Gas Industry – the Oil and Gas Vendor Guide Middle East, ever since we have sold of our major two publications titles the Gulf Oilfield Directory and Oil and Gas Vendor Guide along with www.oilandgaspages.com to a local entity in the year 2017. Arabian Gulf Commercial Publications currently publishing Gulf Oilfield Magazine, Arabian Gulf Industrial Magazine and a Mobile App interfacing and online search directory and an ecommerce portal are under hatching stage.
