About company
Since its establishment, the Authority has gone through several stages, whereby its ownership has been transferred from the private sector (the Sharjah Electricity and Water Resources Company) to the government of Sharjah, then it became the Sharjah Electricity and Water Department. Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority enjoys financial and administrative independence to provide and provide excellent services of electricity, water and natural gas to citizens and residents of the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with the requirements of the economic and social development plans in the emirate, and to achieve leadership in providing services.
