The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé is a luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars that debuted at the 2008 Geneva International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland, on 6 March 2008. The platform is based on the 2003 Rolls-Royce Phantom and has styling heavily derived from the Rolls-Royce 100EX, a concept car unveiled to celebrate the company's centennial in 2004. The Phantom Coupe has the same 6.75 litre V12 as found in the other Phantom models, developing 338 kW (453 bhp) (460 PS) of power and 720 N·m (531 lb·ft) of torque.
The Phantom Coupe “Tiger Edition” is powered by a 48-valve, V-12 that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This car has a curb weight of 5,795 pounds, but that V-12 manages to push it to a governed top speed of 155 mph, while the sprint to 60 mph takes just 5.8-seconds.
The tiger is a ferocious and spiritual animal that is as graceful as it is powerful, and that’s where the inspiration for the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Tiger comes from. This special edition Phantom Coupe has been painted in a two-tone Burnt Orange and Arizona Sun paint, highlighted with a Tiger motif twin coach line – symbolizing the animal from which this coupe takes its name from.
Tan and Seashell colored leather graces the interior. Hand-stitched Tiger motifs are embroidered on the seat headrests – paying even more tribute to the amazing animal. Adding to the exclusivity of this Phantom, there are also Maccasser Ebony Veneers and Bespoke Tiger Phantom Coupe tread plates. Protecting the carpets are Moccasin Lambswool floor mats. With the Arizona Sun finish on the hood, roof, and pillars, the tan leather on the dash really stands out through the windshield.
A unique option is the the golden Spirit of Ecstasy and the full-length "starlight" headliner, which incorporates hundreds of tiny fibre optics to give the impression of a star-filled night sky.
