We are looking for Practice Manager – Managed Services (Cloud Infrastructure, Applications & Data) for UAE
Job Summary
The Practice Manager will be focused on building and delivering a broad portfolio of Data Platform
Modernization, BI/Analytics and Artificial Intelligence services, to enable Digital Transformation and drive tangible business outcomes for our enterprise and public sector customers in the MENA region.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify cloud market opportunities and trends in the MENA region, with specific focus on Data Platform Modernization, BI/Analytics and Artificial Intelligence opportunities.
2. Build a portfolio of Data Platform Modernization, BI/Analytics and Artificial Intelligence professional services to target enterprise and public sector customers with differentiated offerings.
3. Partner with relevant cloud ISV solution providers to complement the professional services portfolio with pre-packaged software tools and solutions.
4. Develop and execute a GTM plan collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders including sales account teams, marketing and other relevant business units.
5. Build and own a cloud sales pipeline jointly with the enterprise and public sector sales account teams and help drive customer wins.
6. Deliver pre-sales support, assessments, technical workshops, pilots, MVPs and other related activities to help drive cloud adoption.
7. Lead a technical pre-sales team including Cloud/Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Project Managers.
8. Develop the skills and competencies of the team to be able to provide high quality consulting, scoping and architecture skills.
9. Become the trusted advisor and cloud strategy partner for our top enterprise and public sector customers to enable and help execute their Digital Transformation initiatives.
10. Build and deepen relationships with strategic partners including Microsoft, AWS, IBM, Red Hat and others.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
15+ years of ICT sales, implementation or delivery experience.
5+ years working in an ICT professional/managed services or consulting organization .
5+ years of direct people management leading a team of consultants and/or tech pre-sales team.
Experience of independently managing a consulting practice and/or professional/managed services .
Ability to travel to customer locations within MENA region to deliver professional services as needed
Skills:
· Deep understanding of cloud computing, adoption strategies, data management, and Digital Transformation strategies.
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, service and technical challenges.
· Outstanding customer (C-level) relationship management experience and collaboration skills.
· Vertical industry sales and delivery experience of contemporary cloud services and solutions.
· Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services, specifically in the areas of cloud migration and application modernization
· Business development experience including complex agreements w/ large Enterprise and Public Sector customers .
· International sales and delivery experience with global enterprise customers and partners .
· Deep knowledge of cloud services sales process and deployment models from Public Cloud vendors, specifically Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
· Direct people management experience leading a team of at least 20 or manager of manager experience in a consulting and/or professional services practice
